There is work, but no jobs.
7 postgraduates, 8 Arts graduates, 1 Science graduate, 100 Class XII , and 8 Class X's applying for a sweepers jobs in Gautam Buddha Nagar Noida. 1075 applications for 397 vacancies. Practical tests for sweeping, sticking feet in mud and sewage were conducted.
In the meanwhile, a few UPA Ministers, have jobs but no work.
Lutyens bungalows, cars , secretaries, security, everything intact. Junior minister for textiles, signs a single file for six months. The Junior minister for commerce says he is clueless about press releases by his department.Other juniors in the departments of Heavy Industry, Railways, Roads, Urban Development, HRD, and Public Enterprises have no work assigned. They recently met the PM regarding this.
Like the "deemed" Universities, can we also say that these "deemed" ministers be abolished ?

Ok - we should have tests for ministers but who will be the examiner?
At least we could make a start seeing if a minister has aptitude for something, besides making money, that is. Else settle for Rabri succeeding Lalu types.
Let alone being abolished- the number of ministers can only increase.
As new castes are 'discovered' more ministerial posts will be created to accomodate representatives of all the castes!
I think there is a strong case to have some minimum educational qualification for a person to become a minister. I would like that to see that in the case of MPs too, but for ministers, it should be a must. In today's environment, you cannot afford the luxury of having illiterate buffoons running a nation of a billion plus with pretensions of becoming a super power.
I agree with you Mr.Sharma but many would say it would be unfair because it would leave out a large number of people...
Vinod ji,don't forget there are fake degrees available in the market :)In Pakistan Musharaf experimented with minimum qualification for electing an MP, he failed miserably.
I don't think test should work for these corrupt netajis...
By the way a very Nice post

If the current PM is able to make the beurocrat to politics transition, what stops the government from co-opting really qualified people in the concerned ministries and then nominating them to the Rajyasabha ?
These fellows are masters at the game of cheating as that is all they have learnt being in politics.
But,isn't it a shame on this country that educated people are rotting and looking for odd jobs whereas the illiterate-corrupt-hated-unwanted fellows are sitting in seat of power.
@ Ugich Konitari- a government made up of mediocre people will never co-opt qualified people superior in capability to themselves.
thanks a tonne for yr encouragment boss..:)
encouragement ? boss ? you mean the Noida results are out ?
@Ugich Konitari- Probably he's addressing Chowlaji. :)
the good thing is that now after sixty years we know that they do not have work,
after sixty years we can hope they will be shown doors.
