There are many who believe that during his missing years, from the age of 12 to 30, which are not accounted for in the Bible, Jesus lived in India and Tibet. During this time, he stayed in Jagannath Puri, Meenakshi Temple Madurai and Ladakh. There is also a belief, examined in some documentary films, that he died in Kashmir, where some claim his tomb exists.
British film producer Kent Walwin is making a film, 'Young Jesus – The Missing Years' which will ”put the question out there”. It will be an interfaith film. For advice on Hinduism and Buddhism, Walwin has approached the Swaminarayan Sanstha and through Satish Kumar Modi, Buddhist groups.
As per Yogananda Parmahansa's 'Autobiography of a Yogi', Babaji also spoke, in 1894, about the obscured “underlying unity” between Hindu and Christian scriptures. Strange?

I've read a book on this subject...Even if it were true, I don't think most Christians would want to accept it esp. people like Sarah Palin...Interesting theory, though...
Well another theory states that Prophet Mohammed was Hindu.
Bones, I guess so. That will upturn many established power bases.
Borkotoky, I have never heard of this one! Any link?
This has been speculated many a time and for quite some time now.
Established religious structures will normally not accept any postulate that threatens their existence.
Remember the ugly controversy on whether people ate beef in vedic ages. How does it matter whether they did so or not.
Similarly, does it matter in this case too. Nobody will ever be able to go beyond theories.
I have heard of this before.
If they go ahead with a film production on this subject,a lot of noise will be made.It will only create a controversy.
Christ visited India and learned Buddhism under a Biddhist Monk in Kashmir. He learned about vedic knowledge in Benares and he was brought back to Kashmir after his crucifixion and spent rest of his life in Kashmir.U may read the link for reference.
