Govt has created a record of sorts today by arresting three senior officers.
It seems that no civil service in India which is free of corruption.
Take a look-----------
IFS, INDIAN FOREIGN SERVICE---MADHURI GUPTA.
IAS, INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE---O. RAVI.
IPS, INDIAN POLICE SERVICE---R S SHARMA.
Does anyone know as to where are we heading towards?
How and when, if at all, will we become a corruption free country?
Can we, the common man, do nothing?

We may probably eradicate honesty and integrity without much effort, BK Chowlaji. Now what i just heard on CNN IBN is that Madhuri Gupta had the gumption to ask IFS what took them so long to get her! I guess all the corrupt officers who are amassing wealth of such proportions that they themselves could not imagine, are all doing so only because they "trust" it will happen too late even if they do get to them!
This is not even the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
What is happening at the very top of the government, centre and state, in the media and elsewhere is not hidden from anyone. Let's face it, why should an ordinary official carry the burden and hope of India on his honest shoulders when he can the rot all around?
Honest officers and citizens are like jewels in a nation as corrupt as ours and I am afraid they will become harder and harder to find. We are certainly heading for some sort of blow out. I don't know why I keep getting the feeling that the Cellular Jail in Port Blair will become functional again...
The current slogan is "Catch me if you can" !
sad...
Headng on Head ofcourse
